Below are four quick case studies, each live barely a stone's throw from Fore Street that show how my sites stay fast, accessible and Google-friendly when it matters most.

E-Commerce in Bovey Tracey

Paradiso Arts Centre: one dashboard for Shares, Donations, Goods & Tickets

Challenge: Paradiso needed to sell community shares, accept donations, sell physical merchandise, run ticketing sales and none of the off-the-shelf E-commerce plugins could handle the mix.

Fix: A custom commerce engine with four purchase modes: equity shares, gift-aided donations, bespoke purchased items and ticketing for events. All fed into one PayPal powered checkout with financial exports for the accounts department.

Bovey Hub: dynamic community listings & bookings

Challenge: A true what's on hub needed user-generated listings without compromising speed or security.

Fix: Built a moderated submission flow, rate limited forms and a static front-page cache that purges only affected blocks on update.

Result: Scores of events published in six months and first-page ranking for 'Bovey Tracey events'.

What makes my Bovey Tracey web design different?

1. Local SEO baked-in

From the first line of code we optimise for 'web design Bovey Tracey', 'SEO Bovey Tracey' and related phrases placing exact matches in your title, first paragraph, an H2, and image alt text. Structured data (LocalBusiness, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList) helps you win rich snippets.

Every build ships with a fast LCP, cloud edge-caching and automated image compression, so you're ready when Craft Festival-grade surges arrive.

3. Accessibility & inclusivity

Borrowing techniques from the Town Council project, I hit WCAG 2.2 AA as standard-future-proofed for public-sector bids.

If you hire an SEO consultant in Devon, the work should be structured, transparent, and grounded in the realities of the local market. Schema is not SEO snake oil, but is it actually worth doing

Structured data (schema markup) occupies an awkward middle ground in SEO. It is often oversold as a ranking booster, then dismissed entirely when no uplift appears. Neither position survives contact with the evidence. Schema does not directly improve rankings. It also does not do 'nothing'. Its value lies in a narrow but increasingly relevant set of use cases, especially as search interfaces shift toward summarisation, extraction, and entity-based retrieval.

UK businesses need dependable analytics to guide SEO and marketing decisions. The choice between Google Analytics 4 and Matomo Analytics comes down to competing priorities: ecosystem integration versus data ownership and control. Neither platform is objectively superior. Your choice depends on your business model, budget, and regulatory requirements.
